She grows

This collage of photos are of my 3rd child. This is her last year in Kindergarten and she moves on to Primary school next year.
I almost thought she was my last baby until I had #4. so, in a way, she has a special place in my heart too.

Here, I did some clear emboss followed by some white misting.
I used the tip of the dark blue mist to draw circles.

I've cut up a chipboard from 2Crafty and used it the embellishment

The coloured paper was layered on top of white cardstock.
As I've decided to keep the colours to blue/white, I've used 3 different colours gelato and blended them

M loving it

I've been scrapping, but have not been posting. Somehow I put it into its sleeves faster than I post it. :)

This picture was taken during a recent holiday trip to NZ. We went to Mt Ruapehu, Okahune for a snow trip. The kids wanted to see snow. We were taking a little break in the cafe from the cold.
it's a little fussy with lots of things going on, but that's how motherhood is. but I'm content and happy to be in this season. There will be other things to do, when this season is over.

Ephemera & paper from PinkPaislee "oh my heart" collection

Here I've used a stencil and gelatos to create a sakura/flower background.
Using another circle stencil, I used mist as paints to get the sky effect.

I used modeling paste to create grass and glued some glittered/beads for a more 3d effect. I've also embossed a big flower chip board with smaller flowers.

Mini album - seraphina

I made a little baby scrap-album for a dear friend's #4 baby girl: a little princess after 3 boys. It's such a joy!

lots of space to put photos and journal each and every little milestones.

Perfect

I have been scrapping, but have not been publishing. :)
Here's 1 that I've done recently.

I've used Prima's Opal Magic for the background. It's quite an exciting medium to use and I am very amazed and pleased with the effect.

some little details...
4 big flowers and 2 small little flowers...

I've learnt to emboss with different colours and it's really nice. gives a lot of different dimensions to a simple chipboard.
The chipboard frame was from an ezty shop jittobearco.

I love to layer, but I'm not a huge fan of too much layering. I tend to the "less is more" style. (I hope).

Baby album : Jerome

Here's another baby mini album that I've made for a friend's baby...
These days, babies have everything they need. These little albums are perhaps a better keepsake and memory for them.

Baby album: Penny

My cousin-in-law had a new baby recently and I made her an album.

I've changed the format of the album.
After (almost) completing my son's 1 year album and making a few baby albums, I realized it can be quite challenging to put a photo monthly.

Being a mum, I know, just how hard it is to remember to take a photo for each milestone so that you can stick in the baby album.

Hence, with this album, I've only put a few key pages (a) welcome baby (b) Dad (c) Mum (d) My family and the rest are pretty much "free-style" pages.
No headers, some embellishments with or without photo mats and the freedom to put in photos for any occasions.

With this, I've enclosed stickers and some embellishments for the new mum so that she too can enjoy sticking embellishments in the album. It's really so fun :)

Sooo.. here's a peek at the insides of the album.
Essentially, spaces to put in photos and spaces to journal.
I hope it will be fun :)

I decided to give some love to some of my lovely girl friends who has been such a great support.
just some simple tags/bookmarks for them :)
