Practically perfect

it has been a while since I had the mojo to scrap. Recently I purchased some chipboard from JittobearCo and with it, came new inspiration. the chipboard used were practically perfect & chicken wire.

What I did
1. clear gesso on solid blue paper
2. random stamping of the flower stamp and using clear emboss for "resist" effect
3. I then used Silver gelato on the stamping to
   a. bring out the flower stamps
   b. lighten the intensity of the blue paper
4. arrange the different layer of paper
5. Gesso the edges to 'blend' in the paper. I also used dimensional paste with some blue ink to have some colour
6. Then I arranged the photos and used some Heddi Swap water-colour embellishments. (what I really like about HS water-colour embellishments is that I'm totally free to colour them as I like. perfect for mixed media work)
7. Finally, I embossed the title with bright yellow as I needed it to stand out among the whites & blues. I also deliberately used a light-blue for the photo mat, so the photo would stand out, without the mat fighting for any attention.

I really like this piece :)
